Part of a loutrophoros decorated in the red-figure technique. It was found in fragments in 1955 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe, was reassembled and restored.

It depicts either a scene with the bride getting ready for the wedding, or the epavlia. Four women, perhaps friends of the bride, approach her. The two first ones are holding respectively a decorated loutrophoros-hydria and a kalathos with the latter one referring to the bride’s domestic chores. On the other side of the vessel, the bride slowly walks towards the women to sit in the chair depicted behind her first friend. Only her hair, diadem and feet can be discerned.
